The Durability

How long will this remain worth owning?

The problem

The moment before an irreversible commitment is the most expensive moment in a business. The lease is about to be signed, the cheque is about to be written, the partner is about to be admitted. After that moment, the cost of being wrong compounds for years.

Most advice at that moment comes from someone with a stake in the outcome. The broker earns a fee on the transaction. The accountant is paid to file, not to question. The partner wants the deal closed. The family wants to be supportive. Nobody is paid to say: stop, this is a five-year business, do not sign a fifteen-year lease.

The Durability is that person. Paid in advance, not on completion. The fee does not change whether the deal proceeds or not. The only product is a better-examined decision.

The three instruments

Three paid engagements, each addressing a different decision. All produce a written, signed document. All are reviewed by a named human.

The Durability Review is the signature product and the brand's namesake. Every review returns a D-Score from 0 to 100 and one of five bands, shown above.

How a review works

  1. 01

    You frame the decision

You submit the decision you are about to make, the documents you have, and the question you want answered. This takes most people under an hour.

  2. 02

A named human takes the review

One person frames the question, applies the structured method, and takes a written position. Analysis is produced using structured AI-assisted methods, then reviewed, edited, and signed by that named human.

  3. 03

    You receive a signed document

A written report with the D-Score, the band, the reasoning, and the named vectors that will determine whether the decision compounds or decays. Typically 8 to 12 pages.

  4. 04

    You decide

The report is decision support, not professional advice. The decision and its consequences remain yours. You may proceed, walk away, or renegotiate. Many clients use the report to extract better terms.

  5. 05

    The outcome is published

After enough time has passed, the practice publishes whether it was right. The kill rate is public. The only asset is honesty.

What this is not

This is not for people who want their idea validated. The practice publishes its kill rate. A review that says do not proceed is a successful review.

This is not a same-day answer. There is a 48-hour floor, always. A decision worth hundreds of thousands of dollars deserves more than an afternoon.

This is not legal, tax, accounting, medical, or investment advice. It is decision support. The decision and its consequences remain the client's.
